With breakneck racing thrills and impeccable presentation, this ranks up there with The Last Of Us Remastered as the best redux on PS4.

This remastered trio splendidly captures Studio Liverpool's turn-of-the-decade hover racing renaissance.

It's great to see this series on the PlayStation 4, and you'd be daft not to give it a go. Fantastic track design, a stunning soundtrack, and plenty of game modes makes this one of the best racers out there.

A nice remake that only makes what's strictly necessary to accomplish its goals. A missed opportunity and a great game eitherways.

TheWipEout Omega Collectionis a greatbundle of racing games that still hold up quite well today. Returning fans of the franchise will find that the racing is as good as it ever was, but may be disappointed with the lack of extras included. Newcomers who are interested in giving the series a shot will find WipEoutto be unlike any other racing game currently on the market, which is oddly refreshing for a collection of old games. All in all, the WipEoutOmega Collectiondoes its job as a remaster bundle even if it does feel sparse with bonus content.

All told, this is a content-rich collection, one that is especially worth investing in for WipEout newcomers. Longtime players might feel fatigue from tracks that have seen repeated use over the years, but even then, I'd argue the audio and visual polish present in Omega Collection makes it worthwhile -- with or without a 4K-ready setup. The dream of the '90s is alive at PlayStation.

WipEout Omega Collections is full of tracks, veichles and style. But there's nothing really new and the game isn't as fresh as it used to be.

A very welcome return for Sony's classic future racer, and while it doesn't represent anything new it does show the WipEout series at its very best.

Wipeout is back with all it's extreme speed and catchy electronic tunes. The Omega Collection is a great reminder of what makes this franchise so good... But also leaves us desperately wanting a proper new game.

Wipeout Omega Collection pulls together some of the series' most recent highlights and uses the power of the PlayStation 4Pro to keep the franchise on thetechnological bleeding edge – and it does so in spectacular fashion. This feels like far more than atentative step towards a fully-fledged new entry, proving thatas long as there's PlayStation, there should be Wipeout.

The WipEout Omega Collection is all the WipEout goodness a fan could want. You've basically got the most modern rendition of a PlayStation classic in UHD and HDR, at a blistering frame rate and with an accompanying booming soundtrack. Yet for those of us who played these three games to death, this collection will serve as a painful reminder that we haven't seen new WipEout material on a home console in a long time. Regardless, given all the content on offer for a sub-$40 asking price, the WipEout Omega Collection is a no-brainer purchase for gamers of all kinds.

It's brilliant to see WipEout back. It looked great back in the day, but thanks to the power of PS4 it now looks incredible, and captures with style the adrenaline-pumping action that we so fondly remember.

WipEout is a religion, the air brakes are its ministers, and speed is its only temple. Omega Collection is the celebration of its creed, the three chapters of the saga gathered in one, thrilling experience. If you love speed, you can't possibly want to miss it.

Wipeout Omega Collection is a requiem for the cult classic of PlayStation, familiar product, processed under the modern TVs and technology. The collection is meant to entertain bored fans of racing genre, and may be very relevant before big holiday blockbusters hit the market. And if you are an old fan of the series, you need to buy this game anyway.

WipEout Omega Collection is an impressive remaster that shines at high speeds, though elements of this compilation are starting to show their age. Despite being boosted all the way up to 4K on the PS4 Pro, some of the tracks are returning for the fourth time, and while WipEout 2048's contemporary layouts look luxurious on the big screen, it can be hard to shake the feeling of familiarity on occasion. That said, if anti-grav is your bag, then there's nothing quite like the original – even with the number of inferior pretenders on the racing scene these days.
